Meet the Instructors
Eric Fithian
Eric Fithian is the founder and a lead instructor of NextGen Coders Academy. He transitioned from a career in education into a career in technology and currently works with a top AI company. He worked for two years as a lead instructor at General Assembly, and was named as one of a handful of full-time permanent instructors on staff along with being added to the company’s Products Advisory Board. The goal of creating this company was for him to put students back at the forefront of the process and do what is best for students, not what’s best for business people trying to drive up their margins.
Troy Swayzee
Troy is an instructor at NextGen Coders Academy. As an alumnus of a software engineering bootcamp, Troy quickly became a developer of internal tools and API integrations at a non-profit organization. After a few years as a software engineer, he returned to a technical school setting as an instructor, where he now teaches various software languages and tools in bootcamps and upskilling/reskilling programs.
Will Sutton
Will is an instructor at NextGen Coders Academy. Passionate about technology and education, he has a knack for making complex concepts easy to understand. With years of industry experience, Will brings real-world insights to his classes. He enjoys mentoring students, helping them develop skills in various programming languages and tools. Outside the classroom, Will is an avid coder, constantly exploring new technologies and innovations.
